Diving and underwater engineering across Ukraine
UWT No.1 LLC is a diving company. We do diving work for the oil and gas industry, ports and shipping companies, from a ship survey to underwater engineering on hydraulic structures and pipelines. The quality management system is ISO 9001:2015, certified by Bureau Veritas, and high-risk work is done under a declaration registered with the State Labour Service. Several diving teams let us work on different sites at once.
Ship servicing afloat
We inspect the underwater hull on digital video streamed by ON‑LINE TV, with a classification society surveyor if needed. We clean the hull by hand, by machine and by cavitation at 200–250 bar, polish propellers and carry out ultrasonic thickness gauging with defect reports. We repair the hull without dry-docking: weld plating 5–30 mm, fit patches and cofferdams, seal stern tubes, replace anodes. We measure propeller shaft sag and rudder stock bearing wear, and assist with docking a ship on keel blocks.
Construction and inspection of hydraulic structures
Divers assist with installing sheet piles, tubular piles, beams and blocks and placing tetrapods, remove soil and level the bedding. We replace cathodic protection, repair reinforced concrete of any complexity and measure the remaining thickness of sheet pile walls. Structures are inspected to classification society requirements, with depth charts, positions of damage and foreign objects, and profiles along the pickets.
Marine salvage and dismantling
We raise sunken vessels, equipment and structures by blowing, pontoons, lift bags and pulling gear. Soil down to 10 m is removed by ejectors, deeper we use an AirLift. Objects are cut with an 80 kW diamond wire saw, by arc, oxy-arc, exothermic and gas cutting, and debris and man-made waste are cleared.
Pipelines and cable routes
We survey crossing routes, lay pipelines and cables, install weights and rock berm protection. We fit spool pieces, assemble flanged joints of any diameter, install repair clamps and carry out every kind of underwater welding and cutting.
Diving safety
Dives below 12 m are supervised by a certified diving physiologist, and the company has its own decompression chambers rated from 1 MPa. Cylinders are filled by our own compressors operated under a State Labour Service permit. Divers pass a medical examination and health and safety training every year.
