Construction and repair of hydraulic structures
Underwater construction and repair of hydraulic structures: diving support for installation, underwater concreting, repair of reinforced concrete and cathodic protection.
Quays, embankments and other hydraulic structures are built and repaired mostly underwater. Our divers install sheet piles, piles and blocks and prepare the foundation, and on old structures they repair the concrete, replace the cathodic protection and measure how much steel is left in the sheet piling.
Underwater construction
Divers carry the underwater part of the construction: installing the elements, preparing the foundation, checking positions.
- Diving support for installing sheet piles, shell piles, beams and blocks.
- Placing tetrapods.
- Excavating and laying the bedding for the structure.
- Levelling the underwater and above-water elements of the structure.
Underwater concreting and repair
We repair a structure where it is damaged, underwater.

Questions and answers
On building and repairing structures
Nothing here? Write what the structure is, where it stands and what needs doing.
Send a requestDo you concrete underwater?
Yes. We repair reinforced concrete and form a reinforced protective layer around the damaged elements of a structure right underwater.
Where does a repair start?
With a survey. Divers film and photograph the damage and measure the sheet pile thickness, and from the results we propose how to repair it. More on Inspection of hydraulic structures.
Do you work on new construction?
Yes. Divers attend the installation of sheet piles, shell piles, beams and blocks, place tetrapods, excavate, lay the bedding and level the elements.
What documents cover this work?
Repair of hydraulic structures and excavation underwater we do under a permit of the State Labour Service. The Shipping Register of Ukraine recognises the company for construction, reconstruction and major repair of hydraulic structures. The documents are on Certificates and permits.
